Sun

We've had glorious sunshine in the UK for the last week or so and I've been making the most of it with BBQs, ping pong in the park, ice cream, mini golf, eating out and plenty of other good stuff.

My Weekend

This weekend has been possibly the least productive weekend for some time. Constant rain, wind and the occasional storm don't do much for motivation to get out and about. I was supposed to go and look at some cars this weekend but I didn't fancy getting soaked on the walk there.

Instead I stayed in, ordered Chinese, painted my nails and had a blog clean-up (did you notice?).

I tried out a similar style to this with my new favourite silver glitter polish, but this time graduated the glitter from the corner of the nail. The basic process was the same as before but a bit more of a steady hand was needed for the sparkly detail. For the base coats I used Essie in Flirt.

Such a tiring week but none the less a good one. I'm looking forward to a weekend of lie-ins, boiled eggs and walks in the sun.

These are my favourite clutches from the Anya Hindmarch S/S 11 collection and I always get jealous when I have to send them out for somebody to borrow.

The new Essie nail polish I bought today instead of forking out for a pedicure. I sacrificed that to go to dinner with my boyfriend. And it was worth it.

London Fashion Week - My day in photos

Today is my third day at Anya Hindmarch's House of Intrigue exhibition. A bit of a manic day in that myself and my fellow intern Christian were sent accross town to source some vintage editions of GQ (in preparation for the bespoke menswear launch and dinner with Dylan Jones tomorrow). The taxi journey on the way back happened to coincide with the live streaming of the Burberry Prorsum show in Picadilly Circus so we made a quick cheeky detour to catch some of that. Then it was back to 36 Craven Street for the cocktail evening.
