Aaaaand done!

Finally, all my garments are complete! It's been a tricky few months but I've made it through the tunnel and am almost out the other end.

We had a little photo shoot today with one of our models, Nathalie and myself (who conveniently manages to fit into most of the garments). So I thought you might like to take a look ;)

We have our presentations tomorrow and then portfolio hand-in on Monday which I am in the process of completing at the moment so I'll post some photos when that's done too.

I apologize for my lack of blogging this last fortnight but amoungst all the sewing and preparing for my Ballet Grade 6 exam next week, I managed to find myself a job! And a rather interesting one at that! Although not related in any way to what I want to do in the future, it is still a nice, 6-week earner for myself. I am working on a boat in Puerto Banus (google it!) which is owned by a high power family from the Middle East. My responsibilities include cleaning and preparing the boat for when they arrive, changing bed sheets, preparing breakfast, serving drinks etc etc, you get the idea. So I'll let you know how that goes in the coming weeks :)

Project Update

I did what I said I would and took some photos of my collection so far. The light was terrible so they didn't come out great but it will give you an idea of how it's going.

Only 4 days left until the final model fitting and 2 weeks until the presentation so the pressure is definitely on!

The cream slip with organza and pink throw detail on the neckline.

Crepe de Chine playsuit with purple chiffon and bow details.

Pink Crepe de Chine bra with boning and underwiring, organza and cream throw detail to be worn with...

...pink 40s style, wide leg trousers which will be finished with large cuffs and a waist tie.

Pink skirt with purple twin needle detail - echoing the playsuit.

Purple chiffon top with neckline darts.

I will of course keep you up to date as the week goes on!

Sunday Outfit Post

Sorry for the lack of blogs, rushed off my feet at the moment trying to get my collection finished on time (2 weeks to go!). I'll attempt to take a few minutes out to take some photos!

To keep you going I thought I'd post what I wore on Sunday to a BBQ with our neighbours and their families.

Now the temperature in southern Spain has reached 30 degrees, I wore a simple shift dress with cream wedges and minimal silver jewellery. Not to mention my trusty Ray-Ban Aviators. The jackets and jeans have officially been put away for the summer and oh, how glad I am!
